COMMITMENT TO QUALITY :
From the beginning Rich Bake has been committed to using only the finest ingredients and upholding the highest international standards of quality control. None of our products contain any preservatives of any kind.
We take pride in ensuring that each of our products is pleasing to both the eye and to the touch. Our crusts are always tender, with the natural golden brown brightness that comes from even baking.
We ensure that the texture of the crumb is soft and silky and that the cut surface is bright, with a good sheen and no streaks. Taste and aroma is stringently tested for the requirements of each type of product.
We make sure that the slices of our loaves are of equal thickness, are clearly cut, and contain no loose crumb. Finally we check that our packages are clearly labeled, free of excess crumb, and properly sealed.
Our highly trained team of quality controllers ensures that every loaf, roll, or bun that leaves our bakery meets the high standards which you and your family naturally expect and deserve.
NUTRITIONAL VALUE :
Bread has formed a part of the Egyptian family's daily diet for thousands of years. It has long been known to be an appetizing and healthy source of the nutrients that our bodies need to be healthy at all stages of life.
The bread in our diet provides us with energy in the form of starchy/complex carbohydrates – a particular need of active children. It is also low in saturated fat; while being an excellent source of fiber, which is essential for a healthy digestive system. There is also calcium for the development of strong bones and teeth; iron for healthy blood; and a number of important vitamins.
By using 21st century technology, Rich Bake has made bread even healthier than ever. Our special recipes are designed to fortify and enrich the natural nutritional value of our bread. We increase and improve the protein content and quality; we boost the cholesterol-free fat content to make our products rich in essential fatty acids; and we raise the levels of vitamins and minerals through natural sources.
Some Rich Bake varieties have been created to specifically cater for particular dietary needs. For example:
Rich Bake Milk Toast
All white bread contains calcium. However, at Rich Bake we understand that you want to ensure your growing children get all the calcium they need to develop and maintain healthy bones and teeth. Consequently we have made our tasty Milk Toast rich in milk proteins that both help to generate cells and boost the calcium level.
Brown Toast/Brown Petit Pain
Brown bread contains wheat bran. Wheat bran contains more protein than white flour and has a concentration of vitamins and minerals in the kernel. The extra fiber in brown bread greatly aids the digestive processes and studies have shown that it also linked to reducing cholesterol levels in the blood.
STORAGE ADVICE :
-
Do not store bread in a refrigerator! This will dry it out quickly.
-
Store all bread and baked products in a tightly sealed box or plastic bag in order to keep them moist and ensure their longer life.
-
If you do not consume the bread within two days it may be frozen for use at a later date.
-
When freezing bread, place each slice or half-loaf in a separate pack so that you can remove only what you need.
-
Bread that only contains a small amount of fat can be kept frozen for up to six months. Bread with a higher fat content will keep for only three or four months. Do not keep pies in a freezer for longer than four weeks.
-
Allow the bread to thaw at room temperature before heating it in an oven for five minutes at 180C° (350F°), or until it begins to take the shape of fresh bread.
