Rich Bake seeks to be the best in the bakery business in Egypt by offering the best quality in the market: attractively packaged, hygienic and tasty products in an attractive packaging. Starting with its Petit Pain and Soft Roll products, which offered a new type of bread to the Egyptian family, to the introduction of Soft Toast Bread, a much-appreciated breakthrough for the Egyptian consumer, Rich Bake products have met its target of offering innovative and delicious new types of bread in packaging that ensures freshness and makes sandwich making easy for the consumer, particularly children. It continues to innovate and introduces new products.

HISTORY: WHO WE ARE

Modern Bakeries was established in 1997 with the aim of producing high quality bread, a product that previously was not available on the Egyptian market. A thorough study on the quality of packed European bread showed this gap, which Modern Bakeries filled by introducing the most stringent national and international standards and the latest and most hygienic bread production technologies. The result was a production system that ensures high quality from harvest of raw materials to packing of finished products. In November 1999, Modern Bakeries brought Rich Bake products to the Egyptian market, revolutionizing the way bread is made and consumed in the country. Since then, its range of innovative products and popularity has been steadily expanding. And the rest is… history.

HYGIENE: WHAT WE CARE ABOUT

Hygiene is Rich Bake's number one priority. During the baking process the product is not touched by any human hands -- a fully automated computer-controlled factory ensures that the consumer is the first person to actually handle the bread. This fact in itself is an innovation for the Egyptian market, where traditional bread tends to go through many hands before reaching the final consumer. But hygiene is not only about machinery. We also ensure that workers in our factory are thoroughly trained and work in the most up-to-date facilities. The end result is clear: when your child opens a Rich Bake product to make a sandwich, no one will have touched the bread before him.
